legend background color .... MG6.3

Why legend background did change from grey to windows text color ... ? Is
any way to set this color in author ?

From what I hear, the change was driven by programming MG 6.3 to comply with
Microsoft's API for accessibility for the disabled. To my knowledge, there
is no way to override the color.

There are previous messages in this newsgroup regarding this topic. You
can check the archives to find more detail.

Basically, the answer is "no". Beginning with the MapGuide 6.3 ActiveX
viewer the background color of the legend and the text color of legend
labels (except theme labels) are controlled by the user's display settings
in the Windows Control Panel.

There is no viewer API control over these items.
