IMS 2013 - Issues with Selecting Features

I am working in a Windows Server 2008  R2 with IMS 2013 installed.

I was able to create an SDE connection after adding in the dlls required for SDE (pe.dll, sde.dll, sg.dll) in the FDO folder.

I was able to create a layer based off this data connection and was able to view it. The problem I have is that I can't select anything from this layer.

The other issue I have is with  the Oracle King provider connection. Like above, I am able to create the connetion, create the layer for the connection and view it. The issue with this though is that if I have features close to each other, only 1 feature will be selectable. It's like the bounding box is bigger than the feature itself.

Any solutions would be helpful.
