if I use an Oracle view I do not have access to the properties of this view?

I'm using a view to return data from some tables of Oracle, but when I use this viw as datasource, I can not get the properties returned from the bank. Whenever I use I will not have access to view the properties, but only see the spot painted?

Add a constraint to your Oracle view to trick mapguide (AIMS) into thinking it has a primary key. (Wishlist - be able to do this from Studio)

alter view <viewname> add constraint <constraintname> primary key (<columnlist>) disable novalidate;
