This is probably the single most requested feature (or at least view
support) I am hearing from customers and colleagues working with MapGuide
Enerprise and Open Source.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to include the functionality to use
View, Queries, and Stored Procedures as Layer Data Sources in MapGuide
I understand that stored procedures may be a little more complex but
connecting to a SQL Server View or exectuing a query would be very close to
connecting to a table.
Views are definately ESSENTIAL if enterprise is to succeed at all. We have a major MG6.5 application used by a number of global companies but our porting to enterprise was brought to a complete halt because we can not access data from views.
How can Autodesk suggest this product will be a market leader if it can't handle something as simple as data stored in linked tables (ie how a database should be structured).
