Export files from Mapguide 7

Is there anyway to export a map file from MGE to dxf or dgn?

There is no out-of-the-box way, but it could programatically be done using
the MapGuide Enterprise and FDO API's. I imagine that someone will
eventually develop a bolt-on to MGE and MGOS that will allow the current
view or entire layer or map definitions to be exported to various formats -
similar to what Safe Software's FME Spatial Direct product can do with
MapGuide 6.5 (and other web mapping applications).

Thanks Andy. I think we build this internally. Can you point me in the right direction to do this programmatically to get me started? ie libraries/tools/functions
