In Autodesk MapGuide Server Admin see General->Maximum number of cached DWG
file connections:
By setting this value to 0 the server will release every DWG immediately
after use. This either allows the DWG to be opened in AutoCAD or allows
updated DWGs to be copied to the server over the originals.
The problem that still remains is that of MapGuide accessing the DWG while
AutoCAD has it open. The suggested editing model is a 'publish model'.
1. Edit the DWG in a location remote from the server.
2. Copy the updated DWG to the server's DWG folder. If the 'DWG caching' is
set to 0 on the server this can be accomplished without conflict.
