Any ideas why a password box pops up on the basic viewer at times even though the USERNAME or SESSION has been passed within the main URL query string? It would seem the session is not being passed to these child pages. It is hard to trouble shoot. If you actually use the user name password box it seems to save and work fine. This only happens if you try and hide the password box by sending in the user name or api generated session id via iframe for example. This has been a long time bug. Any ideas on a global fix?
Using AJAX basic viewer add USERNAME=Anonymous&PASSWORD= to the end of the URL string. It will let you in to say Sheboygans site no problem. Now fire up Buffer tools and click choose coor (...). Another password box is shown. This also happens when you pass sessionid programatically. The only work around is to make them enter in password manually and then it does not ask on these child pages. This needs to be fixed for us custom programming creators for sure.
