Connect SQL Server 64bit Edition using PHP

Hi

There is an issue we are facing with Map Server 2012 64 bit while trying to make it work with SQL Server 2008 64 bit.

- The primary issue is connectivity of 64 bit PHP with 64 bit SQL Server. When 64 bit Map server is installed, 64 bit PHP also gets installed as part of it. There are no official x64 SQL server drivers available for PHP connectivity.

- Here is the list of drivers we have found so far and they do not work.

- The combination that we need to have is as follows:

1- Win Server 2008 R2 64 bit

2- SQL Server 2008 64 bit (no drivers available for 64 bit php)

3- PHP 64 bit

4- Map Server 2012 64 bit (php fails to connect with SQL server)

Is there anything wrong with using MgFeatureService in the MapGuide API for all your data querying needs? It's not just for spatial data.
