Configuring SQL sever connection Failed

Hi,
I am new in using the MapGuide Studio i went through the getting started
execrise and it was ok.But now i am trying to connect to a sql server
database using the Autodesk sql server FDO provider.I always get the error:
"RDBMS :No current open database"
"An exception occured in FDO component"
When clicking on the Data source button.

Hint : I made an odbc datasource for that sql database and it worked fine
through the obdc provider.

I checked the providers.xml file in the mapserver/bin/FDO and it was ok
contatining all the providers.

I cann't figure out what is wrong Please Help.

Thanks in advance

You should use second radio button for credentials (credentials configured
with your sql server database for accessing created data stores). Don't use
MapGuide credentials.

Hi,

I have read your post regarding the SQL Server ODBC Connection.
I get the same error message when i test the connection.
i tick the user credential radio button as well.
when i check the ODBC Connection on the server it works fine.
any idea of this?
can i know how to set up the DSN setting?
Thank you

Regards,
Kencana
