It's my AIMS 2015 wish list.
1. Responsive Fusion Templates for moblies and tables
2. Better raster images rendering speed, and more efficient pre-cache tiling algorithm (Like Google Map API or other Map APIs overlay algorithm)
var mapGetTile = function (x, y, z) {
return "http://localhost/googlemap/" + selectYr + "/WebTiler/" + z + "/" + x + "/" + y + ".png";
}
3. Android or iOS mobile applications to view, and update spacial features on AIMS maps
4. Include official RestFul application creation platform in Autodesk Infrastructure Studio to allow user to create GeoRest/Mapguide-rest apps (configuration files, template files <responsive>) easily
5. Support GeoJson/XML/KML spatial data connections
6. Include more ETL functionalities to allow user upload, download and view different spatial data formats (CSV, XML, KML, SHP Zip, SQLite, and SDF) on AIMS maps on the fly
7. Allow users to change the transparency of vector and raster layers on AIMS maps legend panel
8. Include the maptip in part of AIMS mobile viewer, maybe show the maptip by using modal pop-up responsive windows
9. Update and improve AIMS as soon as open source MapGuide
10. Allow users to change projection systems on AIMS layouts dynamically, and feel free to give us a warning about AIMS cannot change raster images projection on the fly (that is kind difficult...) Therefore, the user can decide if they would like to use other MAP APIs to be used as their based maps
11. Provide some common engineering, transporation, utility, environmental map symbol libraries
12. Better profermance monitor tool. Especially, not just using a small window on the browser to test the performance of the map because different resolutions of the browser windows will affect the rendering processing time of the each layer on the map.
13. Add a ability to display cluster points, lines, and polygons at very near location to allow user to pick the one that they are interested
14. Allow user to print or save as their maps with Google/Bing/Yahoo...based map
