Hi All.

Is there a date for the official release of Autodesk infrastructure Map Server 2017 ?

Is there a changelog or a list with the enhancements on this new Release ?

Are you updating to OpenLayers 3 ?

It looks like AIMS 2017 is out, but still using OpenLayers 2.13

I like the new Stamen backgrounds though.

Thanks for your response Gordon.

However it is disappointing that Autodesk itself is not committed to provide an official changelog to know exactly what are the improvements of the new Release.

There is for example an entire web page describing the enhancements of AutoCAD 2017 (http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/features/new) but as usual Autodesk AIMS is mostly neglected.

I hope that AIMS 2017 will have more enhancements besides those backgrounds you mentioned.

OpenLayers 3.x would have been an improvement to the outdated OpenLayers 2.x

Love to see AIMS with OL3
Also like to see the "What's new"
Can't find any dox, so I'll continue to search around the product to see what's new...

Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server 2017 includes the following new enhancements:

• FDO (feature data object) support is extended to newer versions of Oracle, MySQL and ArcGIS:

  Oracle 12.1.0.2.0, MySQL 5.7 and ArcGIS 10.3.

• License change : Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server 2017 supports both Network License (NLM) and Standalone License (SLM).
• Some product issues raised by our customers have been fixed which include:
  • - Enable Properties list to display Date value from Oracle Provider.
  • - Solved the display issue of Google Street/Terrain/Hybrid base map.
  • - Solve the issue of Masterbox control in Form not stably displaying the value.
  • - Enhanced the WMS publishing service to provide getWMSfeatureInfo for Point and Line features.
  • - Solved the issue of selecting multiple features in flexible web layout.
  • - Solved the problem that Form window size changes every time users click buttons on it.
  • - Enhanced the server to make it work stably with MrSID image layers.
