Can I print or save my drawing in PDF with a 30 Days Trial of Autodesk Impression? I'm trying to print a drawing but it looks like the print preview is not working. I send to print and I just get a blank page out of my printer. Please help me ASAP. Thanks.

I mostly use Impression for the fills to enhance Autocad plots

I've had good luck getting sharp lines by doing this:

Import your cad file into Impression

Add impression color fills on it's own separate layer

when satisfied, hide all the layers except that one

Print the file to JPG or PDF

Re-open the cad file and place the image you made into the drawing with it's draworder set to back.

Print your autocad file with the Impression stuff added. ( Best of both worlds : sharp lines & nice fills)

Note:

Getting the right scale for the image can be tricky - easiest to add into a paperspace viewport, take special note of the DPI when printing from Impression so as to fit in viewport
