I, LIke others, have not been able to use impression easily for some time. It seems not to open autocad files and read the layouts properly (the process fails).
Is there any plans to make this work with native dwg files?
It is frustrating there is no feedback on Impressions anymore. It seems Autodesk is no longer supporting the program. I read awhile ago in a "Between the Lines" article that there was an Impressions 4 beta being looked at, but have not heard anything since.

We do not require a full on 3-d rendering program and Impressions has been a great alternative to hand-colored renderings. Photoshop is not a great option as we cannot update layers from AutoCad. Our Concept Plans change many times over before we come up with a final presentation. "Re-coloring" everytime a plan changes is very time consuming.
If any of you would like to contact Autodesk directly about Impressions, please fill out this survey so they know the demand is still out there.
