import scaling issue

random problem occurred today.
cannot figure-out why.

we have a titleblock that is 11x17 landscape
and exported from revit (2009) to autocad (2007)
removed the hatches in autocad (2010) and backsaved to 2000 dwg for impression

i have done this for 5-6 other projects exactly the same way.

i load impression (version 2)
set my paper to arch d (11x17)
import and it loads it where the 16.25" x 10.25" (11x17) titleblock is 10.61" x 6.77"

thought it was perhaps b/c i set my paper size before importing,
so loaded new impression project, left it @ default 8.5x11
import and it loads it where the 16.25" x 10.25" (11x17) titleblock is 10.61" x 6.77"

did the same in impression 3
exact same problem

it keeps trying to scale it to fix on letter size

figured it was something in my file
so i loaded the default titleblock (which is a block) with no viewports
it does the exact same thing
funny thing is that it shows the "block dimensions" as "16.25 x 10.25" then shows size on canvas as "10.75 x 6.77" even if i start with a canvas that is more than enough size.

any ideas?

another guy from work figured it out.
>
from revit sheet view
export
open in autocad
even though the layout space shows that its sized for 11x17
right click on layout tab, page space manager
modify
change to 11x17 and scale appropriately
(i used a pdf printed so i didnt waste paper actually physically printing it)

then import into impression and its correct since the page space is correct
