In simulation, you may have hundreds of contacts. It is very time consuming searching for the specific one you are looking for. It would be very useful to filter the contacts (either Manual or Automatic) by part. One could select a part, then filter the list (or generate a new list) of contacts related to that part.
We updated our contact experience as part of our 11/9/2016 release of Fusion 360. We are now consolidating all of the contact pairs in a Contact Manager dialog, accessible from the Browser. This allows you to sort contacts by set or by body. You will also see a cross-highlight between a pair selected in the Contact Manager and the location where these surfaces exist on the model.
