Revolve along path

Hi there,

I'm missing a command like the one in Rhino: "RailRevolve": a line/curve is revolved around an axis along a path (two sketches needed).

I tried it in Fusion360 in the PATCH environment as a sweep but didn't work. Any other solutions? Otherwise I am greatfull if that could be added!

Hi @eddelbeck,

I would suggest using the Loft tool in Patch to achieve your goal for this model.

thanx a lot! Well done! 😉

But I've just chosen that little dome to illustrate the problem. There are more complex/organic shapes I used to model with this command in Rhino.

Anyway...I love the screencast-tool you used! downloaded it right away. I'm teaching Fusion360 to refugees, many of them engineers, here in Berlin. Will be great to record some stuff and use it in lessons.

I've also used Rail Revolve in Rhino, and likewise miss it very much. Please add!
