Offset on rectangle

This was mentioned for Inventor, but it would really be great if this could make its way into Fusion.

Essentially, it would be nice to be able to offset a center rectangle.

Closely related but if you make a centered rectangle with parametric dimensions

and then you resize the parameter, it anchors from the lower-left corner rather than the center

Aside from just seeming crazy, that's one of a handful of things that makes parametric design unusable for me.

I have seen comments for functionality like this a few times now, for rectangles and other geometry.  Again, I would like to see more votes, but can vet it out internally.  Thanks for the feedback and keep up with the great ideas!

Very much agree with the posting and request.

Certain features should be common sense to implement also without votes.

Yeah seriously agreed about the votes - I'd look at this as a bugfix and it's one of those things that breaks parametric designs for me (or forces crazy work-arounds that aren't worth the bother).

Offset should definately be possible for any rectangle.  I've logged FUS-14464.

The resizing issue is a bit different.  You can achieve the behavior you're desicribiing by Fixing/Constraining the center point of the rectangle, but I agree that it would be more intuitive to automaticaly keep the center point fixed when dragging the rectangle size if there are no other constraints applied.  I'll look into this.  FUS-12642.
