It would be nice that when you make an extrude (cut) and you directly reference to a face this would be associative, now in Fusion you must open de the extrude dialog box and choose pick to object, this makes no sense.
I see why this doesn't work now, because picking the face measures and inserts the value into the distance field.
I agree though that if you select the face, Fusion should be intelligent enough to assume you wanted the "to object" extent. I'll give you Kudos for that idea!
