Make the Text in sketch more robust

The Text in sketches is very difficualt to work with.  Here are some things that I would like to see implemented:

• Text box can be dimensioned to change the text height without going into the "EDIT TEXT" dialog box.
• Make the Text dimension be able to be controlled by a Parameter.  You can enter a parameter in the Height vlaue in the "EDIT TEXT" dialog box, and the correct value from that parameter is entered, however as soon as you finish the text, that height value no longer looks at the parameter.  So you have to go change the text height in each sketch.
• Need those dimensions and values accessible in Programming.  I would like to creae custom items with changing the text, but with the Height not working with parameters, I doubt other features of a sketched text will be.

A shame this has been archived... I've just used text for the first time in 6 months and it appears to have become even more unpredictable in its behaviour. There still doesn't seem to be any way to accurately position a text box...

I was going to put a new idea in the Ideastation as i can't find any currently active, unless anyone here can point me at one?
