Guide geometry in sketches

Guide geometry in sketches

In all other 3D solid modelling CAD systems I use there is a possibility to create guide geometry in a sketch, geometry which is only used to help you create the output geometry from a sketch and is invisible once you leave the sketch. One example would be if I have two lines, I want them to be symmetrical on either side of a guide line. I can then create a angular dimension constraint on the guide line and the two symmetry lines will follow.

isn't that the make construction line feature turning anything selected into a guideline?

Like cekuhnen mentioned, it is possible today but isn't very user friendly.  The good new is that this is being worked on for the December time frame and should be greatly improved then.

This is possible by right clicking on a sketch line and changing it to a construction line.

I hope this dosn't out me as a Fusion 360 beginner. I have a  problem using the symmetry constraint. When I have two lines and a construction line between them, the use of the symmetry constraint moves the construction line in the middle of the lines. What I want, is keeping the constuction line in place and putting the lines in same distances to the construction line. Another good thing would be the ability to use axes as a reverence for symmetry (as freeCAD does).
