Ability to add attachents to an approval or rejection comment in a Change order
When approving or rejecting a change order it would be helpful if you could add a file attachment to the transition comment, also have the ability to edit a comment afterward and add more attachments.
I frequently have the situation where I need to attach an email or scan to an ECO after it has been closed. An example would be an email from a customer regarding acceptance or rejection of a change (since we have many contracts that require customer approval for changes but we often decide to proceed at risk without waiting for such approval since it would impact our schedule and we are fairly certain they will agree). This kin of situation requires us to accept and close the ECO in order to release the change. Being able to attach any correspondence to an ECO, closed or not, is very helpful when researching the change later.
This has come up in discussions in our office again. currently an approver cannot add an attachment to the rejection comment. Any attachments have to be added as a separate comment.

Agreed! Giving this idea a vote. As the image shows below, for a "checker" to share updated redlines when rejecting the work, the checker has to make two separate comments. One comment just for the attachments. Then he/she can reject it, which gives another comment (and shoots an email). In the reject comment, the checker has to say that there's a previous comment that has the needed attached files (in this case redlines).
See the image showing there's there's 2 comments 1 minute apart. Doesn't make sense that attachments cannot be added to approvals and rejects.
