Because I keep struggling with connector classes, and I read many idea's about connector groups, I have the following idea: - Create a possibility to let the user make connector groups which can or cannot connect to other groups. For example, Group 1 = red connectors, cannot connect to other groups. Group 2 = green connectors, can connect to group 1 or 2. Group 3 = blue connectors, can only connect to 3 and 1, and so on. My idea is to exent the possible settings by adding key parameter options to these groups - Group 1 can exchange parameter 1, 2 and 3 (plus some conditions like connector names) - Group 2 cannot exchange parameters anyhow - Group 3 can exchange parameter 4 only In addition, it would be great to make connector classes optionally 'one directional', so that asset 1 always passes its value to asset 2, but never the opposite. That would work great when a fixed value from asset X must be connected to a multi value parameter from asset Y (identical parameter name.) At this moment, Inventor forces the multi value parameter to the fixed value at random moments.
