The default text box in the initial view should be customizable or auto size to the text in it. I realize you can hover over it and see the fill value but it would be handy to see the whole thing to start
Hi,
My company is just about to start using PLM360 and therefor need to import our BOM. Problem is that all our sourcing information that we have cannot be imported. This is a serious problem for setting up the system, as we don't want to go through our 200 or so components and manually input this information.
Best regards

Inventor Fusion mutates to Fusion360, a cloud based application, as it looks like. I've started using the beta of Fusion360. Descriptions of models created in Fusion360 appear in PLM360 - great. I'm on OSX wherever possible and do highly welcome the availability of Fusion360 for Mac.
I'd expect that PLM360 starts Fusion360 (if it's a Fusion file) when I click a link at the info of a part in the BOM of PLM360. I'm sure that there will be more cloud based apps and it should be standard, that a model or a design for which there is an entry in PLM360 can be opened directly from the PLM360 UI.
Privilege levels should be granted to memebers of the team - not everybody should be authorized to change.

The JPEG file format does not support a transparent color. GIF does. It would be nice to be able to use a GIF image for the logos on the login pages and top left of the page so that we can have one color transparent. See the image previews with and without the transparent color that are attached.
Why do you restrict these logos to JPEG anyway?
Thank you.

This would seem to be the correct method by default but when using a linking pick list and the search filter option, the link does not link to the latest version if the pick list points to a revision controlled workspace.
The only way to use a linking pick list and have the link point to the latest version of a record is by using the "latest version option" which give the user a drop down selection rather than the field search function when selecting the record for that field.
Need to create a new "Pick List Option Type" - With Search Filter, Latest Version.
The business case for this feature is documented in the two Support Forum posts below:
