We need to have the ability to rearrange the columns in My Outstanding Work. This gives flexibility for the users to have a visual of the columns in the way he wants.

Picklist Based on Group

It would be very helpful to have picklists for Groups that are created that is similar to the Users, ALL by Name picklist. This way, the users would only have to be maintained in the Group and not in a manually entered picklist as well.

Our request is for the dashboard charts to be able to be set to be visible by default at log on.  In our company it is crucial for users to be able to see their current KPIs, metrics etc easily.  Having them visible at logon (and any time they revist their homepage), means that they see them daily without having to remember to look for them.  We believe this will help to improve the company productivity, accuracy and timeliness in hitting weekly targets - all very important for us!


This fits nicely with the suggestion of having user based roles for dashboards and being able to set which sections are collapsed or expanded by default ( ), both of which are also great ideas.


In truth, I rather assumed that having charts that were specific to the user login and being able to set them as always visible came by deault so it 's a bit disappointing to discover that functionality is not there yet!  However, I'm sure Autodesk will be able to being this about in a future release!

Hi there


I have created three workspaces, and I've created the reports for the first one.


The reports that I intend to create for the other two workspaces, will be exactly the same.


I'd like to be able to clone the report from the first workspace, and edit the workspace I use it in, and then save it to the right area.

This is a very interesting case, and I might need some additional information.


I understand the want to clone the report to make it easier and quicker.


I can only see the benefit to clone the report if they are the same workspaces which require some different information but still having same fields and types.  This is one of the reason why we only have clone ability for the same workspace.  Another reason for cloning reports is to capture the same data setting for the Chart. 


I am having a hard time understanding the value to clone a report for 3 different workspaces. Each workspaces have different fields content and different types (some have Grid field, BOM Field, Workflow) that may or may not be the same in all three. The user will need to go back into the report setting to change all the fields and type.


We would love to get more details and feedback from you.  This will help us understand the idea better and to properly design a feature based on your needs.

It would be great if we could:


Have the ability to choose a report as an element (in advance print view) and then have it embedded in the email sent out.




Choosing a report and the file type of the attachment, and have that sent out with the advance print view.

Streamline the process for setting up administrator rights including better documentation regarding the Administration [SYSTEM] group and the workspace-agnostic Special Permissions (Administer Users, Setup Administration, and Share Reports).  It took me a while to figure out exactly what gives users administrator rights, and I'm still not exactly sure what the pros/cons of the system-protected group is vs using those workspace permissions.  It's confusing and illogical to include the administrator permissions in the workspace roles.

This is a good suggestions.  We are trying to help both users and administrators understand the process of setting up administrator rights. 

Besides the Wiki Help, we are also have video tutorial and Tips&Tricks sites to help provide more information.


We will take this into consideration, and will add this to our feature list.

UI Improvments

I realize this is a big request, but here goes anyway.


I would like to have a Item Details layout that can change with workflow stage.


Often I only want to see a few fields in a given workflow stage.

I woud like if I could create different versions of the "Item Details Fields" view and specify which views to use in a given workflow stage.

PLM360 is proving to be a great tool for us in support of new idea mangement, project selection and project management. But one other piece could make all the difference...


A communication tool. Something where we could share quick notes or a chat with teammates in a project community. Perhaps being able to "watch" an item for new comments, specific conversations regarding that item that are happing everyday on some level. The daily notifications are helpful but a section of the homepage or a seperate window that could be kept open that displays "live" data would be fantastic.


The goal, replace all project specific communication now taking place in e-mail. Facilitate and store this communication within an item and display all "watched" item communications on my homepge / dashboard.

Allow a BULK IMPORT of Attachments

It is highly tedious and annoying to attach a pdf or a dwg file to a list of items in a workspace. Having the ability to bulk upload attachments to specific items in a workspace would be ideal for mass drawing updates or file updates.


One solution would be importing a zip file of the attaching files and an excel file that would have the item descriptor in one column and the corresponding file name in the other column.
