I am transitioning to Fusion 360 from a 2D CAD system, and some of the things I hope to be able to model may involve optic elements based on conic sections. I need to be able to model a parabola, and have the focus be involved in various constraints. Could you give Fusion 360 some way of working with parabolas and paraboloids such that the focus is treated akin to the center of a circle? (a snappable point, which can be used in various constraints). I also want to be able to work with ellipses/ellipsoids and hyperbolas/hyperboloids and be able to snap to and work with their foci points, but Fusion 360 doesn't enable me to do this. This is fundamental geometry I'm talking about. Without this feature, certain modeling operations just aren't possible. Yet this feature exists in old CAD applications. Please add this kind of modeling tool to Fusion 360. If I wanted to model a parabolic antenna with features that take into account the focus of the paraboloid shape of the dish, with constraints in relation to the axis and focus, this currently doesn't appear to be possible in Fusion 360.
