Hi,

When searching a workspace, every hit in all fields are shown in individual rows. Usually when I search, I'm looking for a specific item. Therefor I'm not interested in how many places my searchterm is found in ever item, just which items that have atleast one hit.

So I'd like an option to filter the search to only show each item once in the list.

Best regards

Johan Kenneberg

More UI Control Over Items

Status: Future Consideration
by Distinguished Contributor obourne on ‎01-29-2014 03:53 PM

I realise this could be a big topic for development but I'll keep it to a few requests:

  1. Be able to have item tabs listed on far right in a vertical orientaion. Makes for a bit more realestate at the top.
  2. Work wrapping on left view list (useful when field is a paragraph type).
  3. Control font type, color, underline etc. for Field Names.
  4. When editing item details have comment section be listed on left side. It will align with the field and be easier to match the comment to the field.
  5. Have format control over a matrix (i.e size, column width etc.)
  6. Be able to configure buttons that point to URLs for quick navigation. We can only point to items now. I'd like to point to reports, workspaces, admin sectionc etc.

Viewing Obsolete Parts

Status: Future Consideration
by pauls on ‎12-04-2013 12:47 PM

I would like to have a global setting or a rule that would restrict certain groups from seeing obsolete parts during their search. There are occasions where parts have different part numbers but are named exactly the same. It can be very confusing for the user to sort through a bunch of obsolete parts or for a new user to select the correct one.

Allow user created views to be global for other tennant members to leverage (Admin controlled)

Hi All,

Would love it if we could define column widths for filtered views so they don't always auto-size to equal widths.  Usually I am interested in the Item Descriptor (typically the longest), then remaining columns, which might have much less information in them.  However the auto-spacing nature of the view usually results in a curtailed view of the item descriptor and excess space for other columns!  Perhaps  in the dialog box for setting up custom views you could provide for each column a field for percentage width (total must be 100% of course).

Alternatively, if I adjust the column widths manually, I really want them to stay there until I move them again.  Instead, when I refresh the screen they auto-size again to equal widths.  Frustrating!

Thanks for your consideration.

When I customize my Projects or Tasks list view pane, I'm able to select filter criteria.  However, I cannot use an "or" join- only "and".  Could that feature be added in the future?  As in the below screenshot, I want to show Projects / Tasks for which I am either the Owner OR Team member- I do not fall into both categories for all Projects / Tasks.

Another good feature would be to create more advanced grouping- such as combining two sets of "or" statements and joining them with an "and" statement.  For Example, to be able to filter on:

WHERE

  Owner Contains (my name) AND

DueDate is in the next 30 days

OR

  Team Contains (my name)

That would provide me visibility into projects I'm a member of and those which I am responisible for in the next 30 days.

Copy custom views between users

I've seen that the custom views created in the item viewer are not avaliable for other users.

Is there a way to do this?

As administrator I'd like to create some default views for all the users
