I want to overlay two report types - Stacked and Line charts. My reason is that I want to create a chart of "hours needed" for all projects company wide by month for an entire year (hence a stacked chart) but I want to overlay available man hours on top of that so I can visually see where I'm short workers.
Having visibility into future labor needs is critical for senior management as our hiring cycle can take months.
This is strictly a UI type improvement. We have multiple use cases where allowing for public reports to be opened from the dashboard report section would help greatly. These could be anything from open user tasks (non-WF related) in certain workspaces or a list of open project items. Our users have repeatedly asked for that even if the information is two clicks away in the reports section. This would be benefitial when you have reports that you use to drive process rather than make decisions. Especially because the charts do not have drill down capability.
We would like the option to use a runtime filter with a chart so that we could use charts in the following two scenarios.
1. A dashboard chart would allow a runtime filter based on the current logged in user, allowing the same dashboard chart to be reused on many user's dashboard but only displaying content in the context of the user.
2. Adding a chart to the item details tab via iFrame and passing a filter value that is available from the item details, which would provide a visual status on many items that are related to the current item being viewed.
We've had a request as to whether it would be possible to have the Item Viewer in workpsaces collapsed by default. It would be my preference to keep them expanded so perhaps it would be a setting whereby the chooser decides what way they want to view the Items.
