Autodesk Design Review is, by far, the best tool for our production floor to use to view and query a model for information when building equipment. The online viewer is in the same arena, but only barely. Just to list off a few things that ADR does markedly better than the online viewer: Model browser indents and is more intuitive the "search/find" function works well and does not reset after every search The ability to pin the model browser, object properties, etc. The measure tool actually works for plane-to-plane and other relevant measurements Overall, ADR is far superior for what we need and the feedback from all involved is that we need to stay with ADR. From my understanding, the online forge viewer is the direction everything is going, so I'd like to make sure it has the functionality we need. Otherwise, we'll have to look to different softwares to view the Autodesk files.
