Please, consider possibility to check out Project links as a Hard links (for NTFS).
establish a system, where known issue go directly to the customer (especially platinum users)
e.g. WorkgroupReplication.xml issues and things where we can easily improve our system like web.config tweaks.
Hello!
Let's build and place an object model chart in our Idea Exchange, like this one for Inventor:

Also usefull describe charts for client applications: describe GUI and internal scheme (including links to Vault dll's):
- Vault Explorer
- Autoloader
- CAD applications add-ins
- Job Processor
- Wedserver
- Custom apps
- etc.
Using this scheme we can see what are we missing, check collisions, and others.
Make Vault Geospatial aware so we can be on a par with ProjectWise. Bentley have made a play of their BIM and GIS integration on both cross rail and London 2012 Olympic projects with projectwise.
Conceptually we could embed FDO in vault to extract the metadata inclduing geographic extents from SHP files, MapInfo Tab files and indeed any geospatial data source. Would also be useful to extract the geographic extents (MBR Minimum boundaing rectangle ) of Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map dwg files and store as Metadata so that we execute geographic searches against Vault.
Completly automatic Active Directory import of all users and all future users. So that I may hand over the 'user managment' to the IT manager with out any extra training in the Vault
In the same way that Vault AEC can write metadata and Revisions into the title blocks, legends of a sheet set in Civil 3d we need this in sheet sets generated by Revit and Revit Server.
I have spoken with 2 AEC customers now who would like to Automate the creation of Navis works models for coordination meetings. As such if we can generate these automatically as NWC files in Vault on checkin and lifecycle change then we can automate the creation of the coordinated NWD model.
As BIM becomes more widely adopted Navis works NWC files as a deliverable will become more prevalent.
It would be useful to be able to backup\restore with out the filestore.
A commandline swithc would be useful to exclude the filestore from the backup if you just want to either validate your databases by restoring them to a test\dummy machine.
For sending the backup to support
For testing the migration to a new release
Then the ability to attach the filestore later.
