We're testing ACAD2008 iDrop v 17.1.15.0 for deployment and our previously working, web based iDrop libraries are now dead with this update. ACAD 2007 iDrop v 17.0.54.0 works fine. We're using IE7 on both machines.

On I-drop there will not be a change.
It might be XML files that communicate with ActiveX file.
Can you post one of the XML files you have or give me your website address and let me look at what the problem is.
I have been support I-drop news group for years so fee free

SaT:
I would paste XML, but here's the issue: We run ACAD 2007 with IE7 and iDrop 17.0.54.0 and everything we have runs perfect. We are in route to upgrade to ACAD 2008 which has iDrop 17.1.15.0 and it randomly decides to load the XML with multiple ActiveX controls in a single page. This is with the EXACT same setup on a computer with 2008 and IE7 installed.
We're fighting a ghost in iDrop and Autodesk isn't much help and provides little to no documentation on the AX control.

If you see this news group, I am the only one who is supporting the news group. No support from Autodesk.
The main reason I understand I-Drop is because I am a Java Programmer (Java EE) and AutoCAD user. Due to this I know what is going on behind the screen.
Post your sample work or e-mail me at < all_my_j at yahoo dot ca > . I always check to help someone and if you post your sample I will respond.
Good Luck

Solved.
If others are having any similar problems with their dynamic libraries, check to make sure your scripts are not taking more than a second or two to generate the XML. Our script was taking slightly longer than a few seconds to generate the XML package and ....

I've been having the same problem. Iit doesn't appear in ACA 2008 or 2009 since both are on my system. I'm also using Windows XP SP3 and IE 7. I don't understand the heavy PC lingo, so could you make it as simple as possible when explaining the answer?

You can generate the XML file by using Java program and accessing the database.
Otherwise it will take more time to edit the xml file manually
Good luck
