Ok...I have put our CAD Standards Manual into the chm format (compiled htm help file) and I'd like to add more functionality.
I'd like the ability to create layers and/or insert blocks with scale factor of x, y, and z as variable SF. Can this be done using i-drop? I've looked at this nesgroup and havn't seen any new posts for a while....so I'm not sure if this is even a valid question.

HI Sem,
U seem to have lot of knowlegde abt I-drop.
I am trying to insert block from website. the scaling parameters for the block and the attributs for the block are provided in the website itself. When the I drag and drop the drawing file I am propmted to enter the attributes values agian Can Skip this and ask the drop operation to take the values from the website directly?
If yes what are the changes needs to be done for this?
Please send a sample
Hope u can help me in this regard.
Thanks
Sharath

As I investigate further, i-drop does not give you any other option to modify or to use additional feature the way you want. It it like here it is if you want use it type.
But on the other hand if you know how it works properly ie both the HTML and XML file, you can do any other thing.
Look on my website which I generate from the Database and create HTML file.
You can visit my website http://www.students.yorku.ca/~yu859sem
I have been supporting this newsgroup for more than 10 months and if you want further help, you can contact me through my website.
