Hello Autodesk and I-drop users group:
I have been supporting this group for more than 2 years.
But I did not get any put from supporting the group.
Due to this I stopped supporting the group.
If Autodesk is interested to continue supporting the group, please contact me.
You can see my name on the users group how many times I support.
Regards

i-Drop would appear to be on Autodesk's "let's forget it" list!
Well, I for one think it's a good idea and have incorporated it into a worldwide company intranet page so ACAD users can "drop" standard blocks into a drawing to build up an assembly. This mimics our previous CAD system where blocks were dragged and dropped using a tablet with a bespoke area with templates to show the blocks available.
I did ask our Autodesk re-seller about a couple of minor problems I was having, i-Drop doesn't seem to work with ACAD2004 (does it work with ACAD2009??) but nothing ever came back, not even "forget it, it's dead". Mind you, our experience with re-sellers leaves us distinctly underwhelmed!
For me the question is will future versions of ACAD still support i-Drop as I have it in mind to add more pages of different sets of blocks!
Shall we pray for a miracle that we receive an Autodesk response. Edited by: petercharles on Nov 20, 2008 7:27 PM

Let me say something on i-Drop:
1) i-Drop is working and will work on any of AutoCAD version. It is a matter of understanding of the i-Drop application
2) I support for more than 2 years different companies in the World.
3) If Auto Desk do not have someone to support the product why me?
That is why I stopped supporting
