    Content not "dropping" into drawing

So, I'm trying to create a content library for our office, and I'm trying to
do it in ASP.Net, about which I know very little (but I'm learning fast).

I also want to use I-drop, which I'm also finally starting to understand.

I downloaded from this group yesterday a program that creates an I-drop web
page using the blocks in a drawing file. I used it on a drawing of mine, and
it worked fine. when I opened the html file it created, the content
"dropped" properly into my Autocad drawings, in both 2008 and 2010.

Now I'm trying to copy the I-drop objects from the automatically created
files into my ASP project, and I'm almost there. The I-drop object on the
web page shows the proper image (so I assume it's reading the package file),
and when I click on it, the little eyedropper cursor appears and hovers over
the Autocad drawing. But when I release the button, I get a message to the
effect that the temporary Autocad file was created by an "incompatible
    version of Autocad."

Can anyone tell me why the html version works fine, but the asp version
doesn't? I assume some settings need to be added or changed, but I have no
    idea what.

I hope someone sees this soon; looks like not a lot of traffic in this
    group.

Thanks so much for any help you can give.

If the message you get from AutoCAD application, it means the AutoCAD Ver problem.

In AutoCAD you can open the lower ver AutoCAD drawing by the higher on version.

You can not open the lastest ver drawing by the lower AutoCAD applicatioin

ie if you create the drawing in AutoCAD 2008, you can open the drawing by ver 2008 and up

but you can not open the drawing by 2007 and lower.
