    Content Browser and Tool Palettes

My company and I have set up tool palettes containing dynamic blocks to be distributed to all of the engineers. We have rolled them out to most people with no problems. My palettes would not refresh for some reason so I deleted them from the Tool Palette bar thinking that I could just bring them in again to re-establish the link. I go to the content browser, pick the appropriate catalog (which I have also refreshed to make sure the link is valid), and then pick the appropriate palette. I click the idrop icon and drag it over to the Tool Palette bar like I've done on everyone else's computer and nothing happens. The same palettes are working on everyone else's machine and I can't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem and can't figure it out. The catalog I am trying to use is read-only, but that shouldn't stop me from loading it into my tool palettes. I couldn't find any properties dialog boxes that had anything to do with it, either. Have you found a way around this yet?

I did get it fixed after a few weeks actually. Do you happen to have any version of Autodesk 2010 software installed? Like Revit MEP 2010 or something like that? I guess that screws up something with ACAD 2009. Here was the reply I got and if it seems like the problem you're having, contact them and they will know what to send to you.

"2. Do you have a 2010 Autodesk Software installed and if so which one please?

The reason I ask is that in regards to the tool palette refresh the functionality is built on the .net framework by Microsoft and these have been known to become corrupt and/or incompatible versions of the .net installed. If this is the case I have attached the procedure to correct the .nets and regain functionality in the palette.

If this is not the case and you have 2010 software on your system there has been a few reported cases where the i-drop feature becomes broken by the 2010 software once installed on previous versions. If this is the case I have attached the information in a zip disk for you to apply the hotfix for this and again regain functionality."

Does someone know which program contains the I Drop to remove, so It can be updated? My I Drop does not show up in the content browser. Can someone explain how this happened and how to resolve it? Thanks.
