I've filed a few error reprots through the app about this as well, but I wanted to bring it up here and see if anyone else was experiencing issues as well.
I use the "Project Cut Edges" feature as core feature in my workflow. For some reason, starting today - using that feature has crashed Fusion every time. I've restarted Fusion multiple times, as well as did a full uninstall and reinstall.
Does Fusion get minor updates automatically? I love the fast paced development cycle - but if this was caused by a minor self-installing update that would be useful to know. I don't know what else would have changed. Perhaps it is a cloud issue of some kind? I have noticed many operations have been slower today.
I don't believe it is my computer. I have 12 GB of memory and a Core i7 3.5 ghz processor with well over a TB of extra space. I have tried running Fusion alone, but that did not change anything.
Any advice or insight would be much appreciated! Has anyone else been seeing the same issue? (either users, or admins seeing a flood of related tickets)
Thanks,
Jeff
I just tried on a couple of files - and it worked fine for me.
Does this happen on any new file you create?
Help shows version 2.0.1193
I am running on Windows 7 Home.
I'm running Windows 8.1.
here is a short video of the operation - https://www.dropbox.com/s/cj7giyufych3efz/Video%20Aug%2008%2C%209%2043%2041%20AM.mov
I'm open to trying almost anyting! Just need to get it working

My hypothesis is that using using "Project Cut Edges" on a mesh .....- but I think some more work should be put into inspection these issues with mesh manipulation.
I suspect that might be relevant information that was omitted from the intial post, that might be of some importance in reproducing/diagnosing the problem.
You should check out Autodesk Screencast for future recordings. See the hyperlink for more information or to download the product. Screencast will capture audio, keyboard strokes, mouse picks and clicks, and will create a timeline of the commands used in Fusion 360. This can be very useful to understanding or documenting an issue. It will also automatically host a the video for you to share publicly or to keep private for those who know the right link.
One question I have, is has the mesh been converted to a B-Rep already? Does converting the body that you are projecting into a sculpt body or a b-rep body improve the behavior?
Free free to upload an archive file to this thread. I will be happy to take a closer look.
Thanks,
