is there a way to hide design timeline model preview when editing a feature

the yellow design preview is really distracting when I do not want to see it and want to focus only on my other mesh objects

I am working on.

Exit sculpt to model mode, turn off visibility of the body, and back to editing the T-Spline.

We will have a preference in the next major release that will allow you to turn off the "ghosted" surface when you return to the Form workspace.

While in sculpt, I just discovered you can hide the body (preview) by pressing and holding your mouse button over it and choosing the body under the parent tab. Right click and choose Hide. You don't have to go back to modelling space to hide it as I suggested earlier.
