Fusion 360 for OSX will crash every time if I perform the following steps on a particular design:
1. Select any component
2. Press command+C to copy component selected in the browser
3. Press command+V to paste the component
Upon trying step 3, Fusion 360 crashes.
Here are some error report IDs: CER_97533362, CER_97533642
I tried recreating the crash on a new design by doing exactly what I did for the design (aside from a few more sketch details) that is crashing without success. In case it helps, here are the exact steps:
1. Create new design
2. Place a circle sketch of 50mm diam, its center pinned to the design origin
3. Place another circle on the same sketch with a diameter of 30mm.
4. Extrude the outer ring to 30mm
5. Select the newly created body in the browser
6. Right click on selected body in the browser and create a component from the body
7. Turn off design history
8. Copy the component by selecting it in the browser and pressing command+c
9. Paste the compontent by pressing command+v
No crash.
Hi Michael,
Many thanks for posting the issue to help us improve the quality of Fusion 360!
You description about the issue is very clear and detail. I can very easily follow your steps although I cannot catch the crash either if start from a new design.
Could you please share us the particular design if possible? It will help us a lot to address the issue quickly? You can send the design to sally.yang(at)autodesk.com or just attach it here.
And I will also send the crash report ID to development team for triage.
