I'm at ADX, Portland's local makerspace, trying to get a member set up using Fusion 360. He's downloaded it, signed up for an account, got the "You're good to go!" screen. But after he tried signing it said "You're not validated" and he never received the email.
We tried reinstalling it, but keep getting the message "____ is the latest build." Looked under Library > Application > Autodesk .... but there's no Autodesk folder.
Where'd the install go? (Using Mac)
Kat,
You're looking in the User library- not the System library?
<User>-- Library-- Application Support-- Autodesk-- Webdeploy on my system.
Hey Ron! Yeah, we checked both. Totally bizarre, not able to find it anywhere. Even searched for "Autodesk" and "Fusion 360" using the Finder, no luck.
I had something similar happen the other day while updating. Then I realized that my wireless was dropping out on me. Any chance that is the issue? Is the internet connection solid?
Hope this helps.
This was probably a silly question since your posting on the forum. 🙂 I just tried creating a new Autodesk ID and the confirmation e-mail seems to be a bit delayed.... still waiting..
Try going to https://360.autodesk.com/landing and signing in with the username and password for that ID. After agreeing to the terms of use, then go and launch Fusion360.
If that works, can I get a free welding class from ADX? 🙂 JK...
Keep us posted!
Thanks, Nate! The guy I was helping install, Owen, has gone home for the day, but Kevin is reaching out to him (thanks Kevin!). That site is good to know for future reference (though hopefully we won't need it!) 🙂
As for ADX, you should come by! We're (ie Autodesk) is creating a space here... 🙂
