Toshiba Satellite for Autocad Architecture and 3d Studio Max

Hello,

I am going to buy the Toshiba Satellite P50-AST2GX1

Intel Core i7-4700MQ quad core processor, Windows 8, 12GB DDR3L RAM, 1TB Hybrid HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 740M 2GB with Optimus, DVD SuperMulti Drive, 1366x768 TruBrite display, Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 + Bluetooth 4.0, WiDi Capable, HD webcam, LED backlit keyboard, HDMI output with 4K capability, 15.6'' Display, 1 Year Warranty

It is good for these two programms?

Thanks,Panayotis

Which versions of both programs?
15.6" screens is too small for production work: are you a student or traveller? Laptops are slow too, but not if you need the mobility.

The latest versions of both programs.
I am an architect student in the first years at university.

It's good enough for a University/student application: just keep in mind a 15.6" is small so you will be panning and zooming a lot.

The 17,3 inc. is good for that programs?

I think you will enjoy the experience more with a 17" monitor: but that is an added expense of course.
