System Requirements for AutoCad LT 2010

I'm looking to purchase AutoCad LT 2010. Will a laptop with these specs be sufficient? I'm looking to do very light work and need to know if the full suggested requirements are really needed, or with something like the system bellow I wont even be able to install or run LT.

Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic, Service Pack 1, English
Intel ®Core™2 Duo T5870 (2.06GHz,2MB L2 Cache,800MHz FSB
2GB,DDR2,800MHZ

Thank you.

Technically it is more than adequate BUT

1) Don't get Home Basic, It's a joke. In fact wait 3 weeks and get Windows 7
2) Bump the memory to 4gb (or more) and get a 64 bit OS. You won't be
sorry since the performance/price ratio sweet spot for memory is past
the 3gb mark, depending on usage, any where between 4 and 8 gb. 2 gb on
Vista is really sluggish.

There's Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate listed on the MS
website. The professional version adds xp mode and domains to Home
Premium, ultimate adds languages, bitlocker encryption, and auto network
backup to Professional. The other versions are not directly sold to
consumers, but are oem only such as starter, a low end version for
preinstalls to netbooks or for use in 3rd world countries, and
enterprise for volume licenses. Enterprise has ultimate's features plus
volume license keys(which was the way that so many illegal copies of
XP got out there,) but omits some games.

Professional includes backup to a network. Ultimate only adds in Bitlocker and
the language packs.

So, like Dustin said, Ultimate is a complete waste of money for most people.

It's the auto part of the backup that was added, but I agree that I
wouldn't waste my money on it. Officially there is no "business"
edition, with MS going back to the "professional" nomenclature used with
XP. There are a few other features that Ultimate and enterprise have
that are not important to the average user, but some may want such as:
Unix based application subsystem, direct access (vpn capabilities),
branchcache which caches files locally that may coming from a main
office server, virtual hard disk booting which isolates users of a
system from other users of the same system such as when user "a" dl's a
virus, user "b" is not exposed since a fresh image of the os is loaded
when they log in, and aero glass remoting which I have no clue about
other than guessing from the name that when remote access is used, the
visual interface doesn't have to downgrade. I can't imagine using aero
glass remoting except on a direct network connection where I.T. can
maintain computers in the same building without having to get out of
their chair just because the secretary on the 3rd floor thinks that
their screen looks funny.
