4 gigs will get you by, but the more ram the better you will be.

I am a Mech. Design Student studying with ACAD 2010, Inventor Pro and
Solidworks. I'm looking to buy a new laptop, so I have that quintessential
question :"What should I get??" After having looked at a multitude of
laptops, here's what I've tentatively decided on:
Toshiba Satellite
Intel® CoreT2 Duo Processor P8700 (2.53GHz, 3MB L2, 1066MHz FSB)
Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit
4GB DDR2 memory (2048MBx2)
250GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial-ATA)
ATI MOBILITY RADEONT H4570 with 512MB DDR3 discrete graphics
Simply put: please tell ME what YOU think. Of course, being the
warm-blooded tech geek I am, I'd love a souped up Sager, but reality always
intrudes on our dreams, doesn't it?
