Can anyone tell me why my double left click will not work. I used to me able to dbl click text and it would appear for editing and also dbl click an object / slash entity and get it's props.
I have set my Options for for dbl click editing?

Did you turn off PICKFIRST variable?
Change your double-click speed in your mouse driver?
Change what CUI does with double-clicking Mtext?

Need a new mouse?

Thx Dean,

Pickfirst it was. But I know I didn't change that variable intentionaly. Is there a key stroke setting like "Ctrl F5" or something like that which a person can inadvertingly enter to change that variably.

where most people unknowingly change the variable is at the top left of
the Properties dialog there is an "X" that toggles Pickfirst on and off.
It, to some I guess, looks like the Close X in the upper right of open dwgs
