Anyone using the high end HP Pavillion series? Trying to ensure Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Intel i5 or i7 processor and capable of running Civil 3D 2011. In the past, the Pavillion series was not stable enough for CAD. Just wondering if things have changed. I know the HP workstations are more stable, but our choices on models are limited.
anything with a high end I5 or mid range I7, 8 to 12 G ram, and a decent video card w/ dual monitor support, and a speedy hard drive in the 500gig range will do nicely for most C3d projects.
