Anyone currently using the gtx 680 4gb on maya and mudbox? I would like to know how well this card fairs in maya, particularly in handling heavy geometry, transparency maps and 8k+ textures. I heard on the autodesk site, that gtx 6 series kepler cards ( gtx 680 included ) are not recommended with maya, but i don't know well it actually fairs, and if doesn't , will autodesk or nvidia ever release a driver update so that the gtx 680 works well on maya just like the gtx 580 did.
I just posted another thread giving more details, as i psoted the performance is pretty bad since its not even certified by autodesk 😞 check my post to see more in details :).
