Favorite Input Device?

I'm considering going cordless. I like the optical mice...No cleaning!! I'm
considering the Optical Trackballs, but I don't know if I'd like the Thumb
or Finger driven models.

What is your favorite AutoCad input device? Why?
Has anyone used the Microsoft Trackball Explorer?

A few weeks ago I contacted Wacom and "test drove" a couple of their tablets. I really really liked it! The 'pen' for the Intous2 felt great and I didn't experience an aches or pains in my wrist. When I use a mouse, I pinch a blood vessel and my hand gets cold, little pain in the wrist also. The tablet allowed me to hold the 'pen' the way I wanted that was comfortable for me. You do lose middle wheel scrolling, but there's ways around that. (note: I do not work for Wacom!! I work for the City of Charlotte!)

Logitech Trackman Marble FX
but you cant get it anymore.
The new version is the Cordless Optical Trackman. It's pretty nice but I
like the older one better.

I'm with John about the Trackman Marble FX. I do use the Cordless Optical
Trackman for my right hand, though. The left is fully functional with my
SummaSketch III, 16 button puck, 15 are programmable through the acad.mns.

I use a Logitech (Finger) trackball at home and a Microsoft (Thumb) at work.
The Finger ones are more comfortable(In my opinion) and I think Logitech
makes better mice/trackballs.

Microsoft Optical Intellimouse trackball. I use the thumb trackball. Took
about an hour to get accustomed to it, and now I would never return to a
regular mouse.

I use a Logitech Cordless Mouseman Wheel (has the rubber ball) at work and a
Cordless Mouseman Optical at home. I like the size and shape of the
Logitech mice over MS mice. Also I prefer the setup options you get with
the Logitech - basically the same options, but Logitech seems easier to
understand. Logitechs new cordless optical mouse with the cradle charger
will mose likely be my next mouse purchase. I'm waiting until they come out
with a new keyboard to go with it...

i use a ms trackball optical- thumb operated- i have used track balls for
many years (4-5) and would never go back- i have used logitech and ms- right
now the ms is the best for me- it fits my hand the best-

Logitech Cordless Trackman Marble.

I like it. It is thumb marble and to me that is the most logical and I am
comfortable with it. It took about an hour to become accurate.

It uses about one battery a month.

I have a trackball explorer. I love it, but still have to clean it. Greasy
hands???

Did you ever buy a Wacom tablet? If so what size did you buy and what are you using it for? We are looking to use for redlining drawings or any electronic document or for signing documents.
Any suggestions
