(Doubt) Quadro 2000D vs FirePro V5900

Hi,

I have an EAH6870 and i would like to buy another VGA, a professional one.

I can afford 'till US$500,00

I saw those two VGAs that seem to be good to me, US$429

I need it to:

Autocad (3D, lights, render)

3D Max (Animation)

Highest quality as possible in the lesser time as possible.

Thank you!

Either is suitable for Workstation quality applications.  The FirePro in this case has twice the video memory, so you might go with it.  Just make sure you also install a certified driver with it and not the factory one on disc.

I've always been partial to the nVidia Quadro line as I feel it is better than the ATI brand.  It's the only card I buy for all of my labs. They tend to have better and updated WHQL certified drivers.  But for the cost vs. RAM comparison in this case, the FirePro is the better choice.  Unless you can find a comparable Quadro card for the same price, I think that's gonna have to be your choice.
