Does this system work without problems with autocad?

I am in need of building an autocad workstation for my uncle. I have built gaming and home pc's before but not autocad and 3d workstations. That is the reason I am asking more experienced ones if the following system successfully and smoothly runs autocad projects in 2d and in 3d? If using also for example 3ds Max do the "render ports" or "viewports" run smoothly for the user?

As I am in hurry I kindly accept any autocad or 3d experts' informative answers. :)

Thank you in advance!

The system:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K BX80637I53570K

4Gig RAM is too low for "3D" work. 8-12 is better.

HD is slow speed: do you need 3T capacity?

For video card explor

If you still have money, bump up to an equally high speed i7 if you wish.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention there will be 4 pcs of 4GB RAM in total 16GB. 4Gigs is surely not enough.

For this value does this workstation do the job well? My budget is quite tight.

I also decided to use other HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 3.5" 1TB 7200rpm 32MB SATAIII

If using for example 120GB SSD for system, does it give noticeable rise in performance and loading times for autocad projects?

A 10,000 RPM HD may be a better value than an SSD drive. Good to know about the 16Gig RAM, excellent.

Talking about the GPU what would be best bang for the buck: if I take Quadro 2000 or something likeASUS GTX670-DC2-2GD5 / GeForce GTX 670 / PCI-E3.0 / GDDR5 2GB / 256-bit / Core 915 MHz / Memo 6008 MHz / DVI-I / DVI-D / HDMI which is littlebit cheaper than the previous one but has more vram?

My budget is quite tight, so I can't allow GPU over the value of Quadro 2000.

On more questions. If using two WD WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200rpm 16MB SATA 6.0 GB/s drives in RAID 1 would the produce better performance than 10 000rpm drive or SSD?

Talking about what will be done with the new system, my uncle works in non-standard industrial machinery production company and he will be opening, viewing and maybe slighly modifying clients' projects. Right now he has a pc something like 7 years old and he does all his job on it. He would like to view and rotate the models more smoothly and easily than now. If this PC presented in this topic does it considerably better then I will be putting it together.

Main apps that will be used are Autocad, Sketchup and some other software for opening cad files.
I would just like know which card works better with autocad in my budget range: specialized Quadro 2000 or Nvidia/AMD gaming cards (if buying one in the same price range of Quadro 2000)-

I read that with OpenCL technology (which AMD cards support) the performance comes from GPU and also from CPU in parallel.
For example if I get a Asus HD7970-DC2-3GD5 / AMD Radeon HD 7970 / PCI-E3.0 / 3GB GDDR5 / 384-bit / Core 925 MHz / Memo 5500 MHz / 1xDVI-I / 1xDVI-D / 1xHDMI (via DVI to HDMI adaptor) / HDCP would it in some cases outperform Quadro 2000?

If looking on the chart on this page VideoBenchmark I can see that Quadro 2000 scores 1123 points whereas Radeon 7970 scores whopping 3958 points. Does this mean that 7970 performance in autocad drawings rendering far exeeds the quadro 2000 power?

As the price is relatively the same I'm really stuck between these two, which one to choose for autocad, skecthup etc.. Which will perform better?
