Dell Studio 17 or Precision 6400 17 for use with Civil 3d 2010

Any opinions versus these 2 laptops? Will run them with Win 7 64. 6400 has
the nvidia card the studio has ati. Would the xps be a better option?

We have several 6400 and the nvidia card has not proved itself. In fact in
all of our m90s it needed to be replaced.

what nvidia card are you using? what were the problems you had? you ask for
opinions on 2 laptops but give no specs for either laptop besides one has a
ati and the other has a nvidia video card. the video card is a very small
part of a system. You can have the best video card money can buy in a
system, but is bottled down by either ram or processor. Please give specs
including model number of video card for both machines.
