Bummed

I downloaded Revit 2013 and was looking forward to working through some of the tutorials only to find out my Dell N5050 laptop doesn't have the power to run the program.

Intel i3-2350M

CPU@2.30 GHz

Ram - 6GB

Windows7 Home Premium 64 bit

Any suggestions or do I need to keep saving money for a super computer?

There is no quickfix for a laptop with an i3 processor: what was Dell's answer? Worth a call to find out.

There's a reason why systems based on the i3 are so cheap - they are intended for the "business class" users who only need to do a little word processing, spreadsheets, checking messages, and web surfing.

When purchasing laptops remember the three P's: price, power, portability.  You get to choose two.
