I have created an exploded view in an Inventor IPN file. I would now like to work with the exploded view in showcase for some marketing material but can't find a way to open an IPN with Showcase.
If this isn't possible, is there an easy way to create an exploded view in Showcase without having to build a new "exploded iam" file.
Unfortunatly, you are limited within the supported import format of SHowcase. I am not personally familiar with the IPN file.. Is it possible to export your IPN file as a FBX? That would be the only suggestion I could make..
See the image attach to review the supported file by Showcase.
Anybody out there as tried this before?

IPN file is a representation of the IAM file. it is like the IDW, doesn't contain the geometry, only the link for the exploded views.
I think that the best choice is to do the the exploded view directly in showcase.
In inventor in assembly environment is very difficult, you should manage all the relationship between mate and connections...
In showcase with the transorm handles, you can easily change objets positions to create your own exploded view.
